Uncle Tio Comes to Play

My brother Kevin (aka Uncle Tio) just got home from his mission in Ft. Lauderdale, FL last month and decided to come hang out with us for a while. He is watching Reece during the day while I work, and looking for a job in the evenings. He is also spending a lot of time at activities with the single's ward around here. We are loving having him here, and Reece is having a blast!

The National Air and Space Museum

I am absolutely LOVING living in the Washington, DC area! There are so many cool, interesting and fun things to do around here. Since I moved here 6 mos pregnant and then had a baby, and now it being the middle of winter, we haven't been able to do all that much yet, but one of the fun things that we have been able to get out and see is the National Air and Space Museum. Here is a little of what we saw:

Grammy Meg Comes to Visit

In January Grammy Meg (Sean's mom) came for a visit. It was perfect timing because it was right when I headed back to work, so it was so nice to have her there to help with Reece. Of course, Mommy Meg was more than willing to help. It was almost impossible to pry Reece from her arms, but Reece loved every minute of it. Here are a couple of the things that we did while she was here:

Dinner with cousins Bill and Mary in downtown Alexandria. Love that place!

A visit with the Memnons (old friends from San Diego). Here Reece and their son Xavier are getting acquainted.

This kid had the energy of a wild horse. So much fun! Sean (being the evil genius that he is) tricked Xavier into letting Sean tie up his hands and legs with packing tape. It kept him down for all of three seconds.

We took a trip up to Connecticut to see Meg's parents while she was here. It is so nice to be close enough to do that. Above is a picture of Reece taking a nap with momma at G and G Reilly's house.
